Nice to see reports from American Media Day this morning. The media picked SMU 5th.

I think this sounds about right for us. The one I am surprised by Tulsa being picked last. I know they had a really bad year, but they have had some good teams in the last couple years. It will be interesting to see if they really are that bad or if last year was just a fluke.

This morning the dead tree edition of the Memphis paper reported a poll that has SMU ranked 9th, ahead of Tulsa and Tulane. It wasn't sourced and I couldn't find it online.

Last year's Cincy game is still the kick in the pants for me. A woulda-coulda-shoulda won game of the highest order.
