Hearing the #SMU DB JR Richardson is out for the year. Would be a huge blow to a secondary that ranked in the 100s in pass defense.

Kid has had a really tough time with injuries (and now illness) since he's been at SMU. Best of luck to his recovery.

As far as the team is concerned this is a huge blow. We are already very inexperienced and young in the secondary. This probably forces Mason to start Ajee Montes and have some combination of Jesse Montgomery, Trey Washington, or William Jeanlys as the nickel back.

I think that Darion Richardson was working a some at corner or nickel.
I can see him fitting in their somewhere as well.
