I like Howie but don't think he would fit as a coach. He has no coaching experience and also no real ties to Texas for recruiting.
I think the selection of a new coach is going to be a very defining moment for casper. He will either hit a home run or strike out based on who comes on board. I believe we will soon see if SMU wants to be a major player in fball or is content to be mediocre and possibly even drop down a level.
