Great speech and good news article on it. Made me feel better about where the conference is at.

The right attitude. There is no victim attitude or entitlement. I liked the following quote from Aresco:

""We are speaking of power here when you do as well as we have done. As I look at our journey, I'm reminded of something St. Francis of Assisi said, 'You should start by doing what is necessary, then doing what is possible, then suddenly you are doing the impossible."

Need to put him in a room with June for a one-on-one motivational speech.

Ok. But what ideas has he put forward?

How about expanding the playoff to eight teams with two places reserved for those conferences not in the P-5?

What about legislative pressure?

What about pushing for a massive geographical realignment?

What about a tax on all TV revenues to fund shortfalls in the Pell program or disability insurance?

What about thinking outside the box? And actually pushing for reforms.

I think Travis made a great speech too--but in the end if he money isn't shared, the major bowls tied up, the playoff restricted, recruiting, TV revenues and fans will all go the way of the Alamo.

According to you he is on board with June's idea to play in the spring, except for the playing in the spring part, right?
