Football Tickets safe arrival?

Postby Arkpony » Sat Aug 09, 2014 3:32 pm

I got my tickets today in a 2 snap cloth bag with only one snap closed, therefore you could easily see (and take!) the tickets from the "bag" if you wanted. Very careless packaging. I was wondering if anyone else got theirs partially open like this?

Mine were all snapped.

And it's a flag.

I was trying to steal Arkpony's tickets. Got one snap undone and heard him coming out to get the mail. Maybe next year.

Mine arrived safe and sound. I doubt I will fly the flag but it is an interesting package. I liked it.

I had several snaps not closed, but the ticket booklet was never-the-less safe from falling out. I thought the packaging was novel, but could have been super if designed as an SMU porch flag or some useful banner.

There are only 3 snaps. If several were not closed I am surprised it had held together. Also, it is a flag so you can fly it from your porch if you want.

Haven't received mine yet, now curious to see what this flag looks like. I could use a new one for this season.

Thought the flag bag was a grand marketing idea. Gives each of us a secondary mode to show support and it served and the delivery bag.

When is the last time your SMU athletic department showed this much creativity.

SWEET.

Arkpony, nothing is perfect, and glad Mrydel did not succeed.

See you all soon.

Living in the same vicinity as Mrydel, I have to be on constant guard.

Thought it was clever, I need a flagpole. Mine isn't long enough.

Sorry...couldn't resist. :D
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
