When Gresham has gotten his chance, he has looked impressive. As I mentioned in one report (I forget which day), he and fellow freshman Darius Durall have a little more of an overlap than many believed when they signed: thought to be a Thunder and Lightning combo, Durall is stronger and can take more of a hit than some thought he would, and Gresham has the ability to make some people miss, too.
Head coach June Jones has hailed Gresham's ability to block, and with good reason: He isn't stopping every player who comes toward the quarterback, but he has stopped more than one pass rusher in his tracks. He's very strong, has a low center of gravity and seems to have a very solid base when he blocks. With the ball, he's a pretty powerful runner who has shown good hands out of the backfield. Overall, he's off to a nice start.

hasn't that been the lacking factor in nlemchi's game? the pass blocking aspect?

IIRC they said he is likely out for the year.
