Stephan A Smith just went on a rant about Jerry Jones and how he always keeps the Cowboys relevant even when the cowboys are mediocre. Then went on to say that Jerry needs to go down to SMU, which is a great school in the heart of dallas by the way, and teach a marketing class. SMU has the great Larry brown and that alone should be enough to market both their football and basketball teams. Because that is what Jerry does, he is a marketer extraordinaire.

I thought it was noteworthy and was pretty surprised he just randomly started name dropping SMU stuff.

Stephen A was on our campus this last winter for a speaking engagement. I've heard him speak glowingly about SMU on First Take a couple of times since.

Nobody ever questioned Jerry as an owner. It's as a GM where he has failed miserably.

He seems to be a huge Larry Brown fan.
Unfortunately, that's apparently his only redeeming feature, and not enough to erase the fact that he's one of the world's most annoying blowhards.
