Feeling nostalgic?

I'm like everyone else and poo poo on June Jones a lot. But I really appreciate his bringing back the white helmets. Love the all white road unis. And I've appreciated all of his uniforms.

Uniforms are probably the most important thing about college football. So he's done a lot for us there. Thank you, June.

He had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the look the vast majority of SMU fans have clearly stated they have wanted for decades
More than likely his opinion was overridden by the AD that always seems to understand the pulse of SMU fans although he has only been here for 2 years

Must have been sarcasm, June was so stubborn about blue it was a joke

As usual just because there is 2 home unis it doesn't mean we will see both of them. Also I am tired of all white road unis. I would have loved to seen colored pants for a change.

I actually really like the gray pants... wish the white pants had stripes with thicker blue stripes on the helmet but they look damn good to me.

I really don't understand the gray pants, but they are a hell of a lot better than some high school red or blue pants - plus they have stripes.

Hopefully we will wear the grays every week just for the stripes.

Yep, June wanted Reds obviously. This is a Hart deal. Blues are the best.

Naw. They are the Missy Mustangs. We had the blue and gray back in my days. Not sure that OM did.

Plus Old Miss wears dark blue.

It will be interesting to see the gray pants with the blue jerseys.

Did a little checking. In 1968-69 the Ole Miss helmet was powder blue. More interesting, their official school colors are Yale Blue and Harvard Crimson. I did not realize we were that identical with them tradition wise. I believe their jerseys during that era were primarily red.
