http://grantland.com/features/chris-bro ... contender/ I'm sure that I posted this last year, but I encourage all of you to read it, especially if you're into X&Os.
Chris Brown is a fantastic writer and provides excellent analysis.

Glad he finds time to write between scuffles with Rhianna and gunplay at his parties in LA

Let's not forget BU has a ton of question marks. They got embarrassed in Stillwater and TCU almost beat them were it not for that last minute pick. UCF showed us the way with a team full of 2 star and 3 star talent...Baylor strength is they mount a psychological attack on the opposing team trying to strike fear by scoring constantly. The answer? Do the same to them (like UCF did) and when you get that big stop on 3rd down make the most of it and get ahead. The pokes rolled them by 30 points last year...they are not invincible

Hit them hard and hit them constantly. Have our d line roll on petty on every down like if he was a freshman. UCF got him off balance. Hit their wideouts like if it was a wrestling match. No fear.
On offense, chuck the ball straight through the middle to keep the clock rolling. Throw the long bomb and score to quiet their crowd. Halfway through the game if SMU is spanking them, you will see half the tshirt fans in that stadium with SMU gear at the A&M game.

This post of coach speak is brought to you by Gregg Popovich.
Easier said than done my friend. We have no where near the athletes/players that UCF did...

I know it's easier said than done, but I hold some hope for this team. June has said this is the most athletic team he has ever had at SMU. If this team is better than our 2011 team then a 8-4 season with this schedule isn't farfetched. UCF did have Bortles but their team was motivated and ready to play to make up for the lack of high 3 and 4 stars. 2015 team looks to be even better.

Athleticism does not equal/translate to quality on the field/talent.
Being motivated and ready to play is such bs coach speak, so please do not use that as a reason as to why they played well.

ECM I am sorry for blowing up every thread, but I am tired of people using coach speak/announcer cliches to describe how teams win.
