The only appropriate way to lead into the holiday weekend is to close the door and take the phone off the hook, and get all of the thoughts of players and coaches in features on the offense, the defense, kickers, offensive MVP, defensive MVP, an analysis of some possible breakthrough players, a preview column from our man Nate, and an overall season outlook! (MVPs are chosen based on feedback from players and coaches.)

To check out the season preview, please check the link on our home page: http://www.PonyFans.com

Enjoy!

Great job on the preview.

Does anyone else find it strange that Yenga is playing ILB? Mason goes on and on about his speed and the fact that he needs to put on more weight. Is that ideal for a middle LB? Sounds like he should be outside.

THANKS! Please share it with every PonyFan you know.

That's the thing about Yenga, and specifically what Mason likes so much about him. Yenga definitely is fast enough to play outside, and he's effective getting after the passer — see his team-leading six sacks last year — but he also is a very strong hitter. Mason called him a "collision" hitter, able to hammer a ball carrier or take on a blocker. Beyond that, I got the sense from Mason that he would be more than happy with Yenga either inside or outside, but that the strengths of other players dictated that he play inside so the Ponies can have the best possible foursome on the field.

This does not show up as a clickable link for me. I was able to copy it and paste it into my search bar though.

An hour? I haven't done a damn thing all day.
This preview is the start of football season in my mind.

We would be remiss — and we're already late with this — if we didn't point out that the design work for the Season Preview, is the creation of our man SmooPower, who continues to work his magic on making this site function and look great.

You are an artist, sir. Keep it up.
