He had a 4 or 5 year contract when he signed with WSU.

The real question is if they'll pay it all out...

He signed an extension that runs through 2018.

They knew what they were getting when they hired him. All offense, no defense, no championships.

He will still be better than their previous coach imo. At least I would think.

Similar to what we have gotten with June.

Except we haven't even gotten the offense June promised us. Mason's defense has been better overall.

True that the offense hasn't ever been that stellar. Mason's defense has been better than average against bad teams, but against the better teams we have played, it hasn't been that great although that has been aided by JJ's offense putting the D on the field so much.

Leach inherited zero talent when he took over at WSU. I thought they looked fairly good Thursday despite pulling against them. It will take him several more years to have a real solid program. Also, it is really tough to recruit kids to Pullman, WA as there is simply nothing there and your are 300 miles from civilization. Leach had done a very credible job thus far and I do not see any factors that would cause his job to be in jeopardy.

Statistically June's offense has been slightly worse than Rusty Burns was. Mason has way outperformed Bennett's D
