They gave Tech a run for their money. Kool Kliff blamed it all on Tech errors but CEntral Atkansas was well coached with decent athletes

Central Arkansas has been good for a long time. Won a National Championship or two at a lower level. They are moving up in class and coming along just fine.

For what it is worth, in 2012 SMU beat SFA 52-0, and SFA went on to beat UCA 42-37. Given our offense takes a while to gain traction, if they came out executing well in a season opener, they could cause a scare (Montana State), but otherwise we should be able to beat them soundly.

Agreed. Also, TTU defense is nonexistent.

Central Arkansas as well as many other members of the FCS elite could come to Ford and beat us. Games versus FBS are their Super Bowl.

Last year we struggled vs Montana State but the second half team really showed dominance on all sides of the ball.

Doubt you'd put money on that. FCS teams have beaten far better teams in far more hostile environments than Ford.

After the Montana State game when we had GG last year I would not down Tech on the Central Arkansas game.

College Football is a) unpredictable and b) all about matchups. Tech did not match up well against them and ND State is just darn good. Just because they beat another team that is "better" than us does not equate to them beating us at ford. Jeez man if you think we are so pathetic why waste your time being an SMU fan??

So would you put money on that or not? My guess is no since blustery morons like yourself often lack conviction. Oh and since you're a TCU fan (nice win last night) it isn't appropriate for you to use "we" when referring to SMU. Someone might get you confused with an actual SMU fan.
