Time to get made fun of in the office once again.

Deservedly so. At the end of the day it's on us. Our influential alumni are just happy to have a team that wins occasionally so they can have an excuse to get drunk on Saturdays in the ac of the champions club or their box. Any other school would have fired June after the asu debacle. We are reaping what we so.

This is IT!! Now is the time to either **** or get off the pot. Either we get REAL serious about football and do whatever is humanly possible ($$$) to crack in to the Power 5 or just stop the bleeding and shut down this sham of what we are being sold as football. I'd just as soon be a basketball school at this point and focus on winning National Championships on the court.

I am SO tired of these Tuesdays and Mondays and every day of the week after SMU plays football. ..The crappy non interest recruiting Jones regime is exposed yet again.

This would be spot on if you posted it in 2011, and there was still a small chance at the end of last year to make a move. By not eating the 5 million and bring in a new staff was the final nail in the coffin, and I know it's not my money, but that was the final move, or lack thereof. The musical chairs game is over and SMU did not make the cut in football. We have to accept that. It's done.

You know there is a reason all of the half star recruits like Jones' practices. Your seeing the results on the field tonight.

my Tuesday won't be bad. I told my S. Carolina and Clemson colleagues that Baylor would cover the spread against us and they are all going to be licking their wounds because they both lost by 24...so I can just say "welcome to my world"

Too bad South Carolina and Clemson still have a future and we are stuck with this dumpster fire with no way out

Well, it didn't take long for me to get an earful this morning, plenty of jokes and laughs, and I never talk trash when it comes to SMU, except for recently with basketball. According to my co-workers, we've got a solid HS football team who would be able to stay with Allen HS for a half. All I could do is shake my head and take it.

This morning I'm just reiterating the same line I used last week leading up to the Baylor game:
"Basketball season starts November 14."

Remember guys, we're a b-ball school now. No sense in getting upset until November.
