(SID) The Blvd grass needs attention.

Today I made my annual pre-season trip to the SMU Bookstore to buy some new SMU gear for the upcoming seson. Afterwards I drove down the Blvd to see how it looks. Today the Blvd grass does not look very good at all. I wonder if they can get the turf in better shape before the Texas A&M game? Besides basketball the Blvd is one of our real bright-spots and I wish they would do a better job of keeping the grass in tip-top shape at least to start the season off. Sure the shade of the trees presents a challenge, but professionals should be able to handle it. See pics below of the condition of the Blvd turf today:

Fixing the grass will be harder.

If the grass dying was directly caused by June Jones being our HC, would RGT more likely to have him fired, than if we had a winless season?

It is so easy to be a critic. So easy.

Just don't wear your $500 cole Haans, you'll be fine.

A bit shocking considering how much rain we have had, but doesn't it look like this in lots of places all the time anyway?

It certainly shouldn't deter any Boulevard activity. Plus, we will all need to be extremely drunk for this one anyway so who cares if the ground is messy.

Um, yeah - not something the SID has any control over. At all. Complain instead to these folks:

Loud and long and frequently. What's funny is they currently have pictures of SMU covered in snow on that page.

Well, it is going to take hell freezing over to beat A&M.

I think they usually throw out a lot of rye seed when the weather cools.

Youd think they would save it to seed the blvd instead of throwing it out

Smart [deleted] remarks like that are usually reserved for me to make.
