Well - neither one of us had great openers. So it really is difficult to tell what will happen which makes this game even more interesting.

I think we will have a good crowd, just shy of a sellout. Had we played better against UT it might have sold out. Also the early start time will hurt.

I just want to go on record that most of our fans have respect for what SMU has done over the past 4-5 years and see this as a very tough game.

Our fan site is over at http://gomeangreen.com/forums. Feel free to check in and say hello. There is a link to your site on the board so you will probably be seeing a few of our fans over here.

Our offense was horrendous against UT -- our defense was pretty salty. I expect we will try to run the ball against you and if you can stop it you have a good chance to win the game.

I hope many of you will make the short trip and be at the game. It should be a fun game and good atmosphere. I think you will be impressed with the tailgating and stadium. If you have any questions let me know and I will try to answer them for you.

Here's a to a good, injury free game for the both of us and may the best team win.

If we lose this game it will be the lowest point in the program's history since....?

1-11 in 2007 (Bennett's final year)??

Honestly, I think we are at the lowest point since '07 regardless of the UNT outcome.

I was on the 2007 team and at least we were able to function/look like a football team. We lost in the last seconds or in overtime in 5 conference games I believe that year. In the big losses we at least moved the ball and had over 200 yards of offense.

This is the most unprepared and carefree team I have seen. No passion, no intensity. The amount of fumbles (6) and delay of game penalties represents that.

Sorry, but that team was more embarrassing to watch than this one. Coach Jones has not put in the necessary effort to excel, but Bennett had 6 seasons and did not manage a winning record in any of them. After one game against an excellent Baylor squad there is nothing we didn't know already. I said before that game to not even bother tuning in. We will learn more after this game and probably end the season 5-7 or 6-6.
