OT: bball story to make you giddy

Postby LA_Mustang » Thu Sep 04, 2014 11:25 am

Sorry, I know not many visit the bball board these days but we need good news. Go check out the bball board to see what Yanick did today against Australia. The big fellow is doing things. WOW! HE IS BACK!

38 points and 15 boards in a win vs. Australia. Big win for Angola! GREAT game for Yanick.

I would have gotten to the BB screen today and this thread made it sooner rather than later. There have been several nice posts about Yanick's performance in the competition and also apprehension about the effect of a deep Senegal run, now over, and being late to enroll at SMU this fall. Today it appears that he may not be back.

There was no member of last year's BB squad I more wanted to have a good 2014 - 15 season at SMU than Yanick. Maybe the stories that he is gone are wrong. If he does not return I wish him well.

What stories that he is gone? If you mean random posts on here, never mind. If you have a link to another story please provide it.

No link from me. At the time I posted the information for a couple of days past together with a more recent item that he no longer lists SMU on twitter or some such was scary. I don't know what the options of someone with his present resume might be. Overseas ball maybe?

I hope I'm wrong.
