After watching the beginning of this UNT game, I'm officially out of that camp too.

I've always believed in giving people enough rope to hang themselves, so it's really obvious.
After this game, JJ has enough rope to put 3 nooses around his neck.

I've always believed in getting rid of people before they start to experience diminishing returns. That point with June was right after the ASU fiasco.

The announcers said that June has an amazing offense and can score quickly. They also said that he has done an amazing job at SMU and turned things around. They are June defenders.

sports media is lazy and parrots whatever the hell they are told.

if any of y'all watch the Mavs, there were still announcers and talking heads calling them a fast break run and gun team year three into Avery Johnson's run as HC even though in reality they were one of the slowest halfcourt teams in the league.

I have never been a June basher or defender. I have always kept my opinions to myself. I appreciate that he did bring the program back from the depths. That being said, the time has come for a change. I don't believe his heart is in this anymore. The most confounding thing to me is the contract extension. No one can make that one make senseless me.

Far too much rope in the case of JJ. We should have been in the second year of a new coach if the AD had not been forced to extend JJ for 2 years.
