Is There Any Reason To Not Fire JJ Today?

Does anyone know of a reason to not fire JJ today? I understand the financial reason for not firing him last year. But, why not today? Your going to have to pay him anyway and if you elevate a coach that is on the staff to interim head coach you do not have the expense of hiring a new head coach. So why not today? Firing him today allows you to start your search now and sends a message to fans and potential recruits.

Let's see, as of the 3:05 mark in the 3rd Qt., SMU has been outscored for almost 7 quarters 71-0. Our offense has not penetrated inside their opponents 30 yard line. Yes, I would say let' dropkick him through the goalpost today and deep six him.

They're probably scared of the media backlash. June is beloved by the media so they're going to wait until 0-7 to finally get rid of him (if we're lucky that is).
