The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadPlease add your Suggestions:
1. Move Pope back to LB tomorrow 2. Move Yenga to OLB where he belongs 3. Replace Yenga with Nwasso -at least he his big enough to plug a hole and has experience 4. Sit Deion Sanders on his [deleted] on Kickoffs. I bit my lips last week because he made 1 good return although he deserved an F for just about all his other returns. Awful. Same thing today. He's killin' us in Field Position. How many times has he made to the 25 on about 14 KOs? 5. Fire Special Teams Coordinator-we are awful. Can't catch a punt. Don't know when to return a Kickoff etc 6. Probably start Cassell-and keep going down the QB list until we find one-and that includes the freshman Last edited by Stallion on Sat Sep 06, 2014 3:54 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." Threadcome out with a tight end, a fullback and running back and "run the damm run". Over and over. Keep the clock running.
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.
Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadI would resign after today.

Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadYes. When you throw on 3rd and 1 against NTSU you are not playing winning football. Can't believe I forgot that one

Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadA Toddler could tackle Deion in open field.
Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." Threadsome of you may have missed this-but the SMU fans gave Sanders a Bronx Cheer in 4th Q when he finally downed a KO 5 yards deep in endzone . Laughing my [deleted] off

Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." Thread1. No more screen passes. The possible outcomes are:
[-] Incomplete [-] Turnover [-] Negative yards [-] Penalty for offensive PI [+] Minimal gain 2. Figure out some way to run the ball. Multiple backs, convert someone to TE, get under center, whatever it takes. We have to have a credible running game even if we keep passing as the primary option. 3. Start someone else at QB. Burcham has poor accuracy, a terrible release, and doesn't seem to grasp the offense yet. He also looks deathly afraid. I'm sure some of that is due to poor OL play, but mostly on the QB. 4. Teach some fundamentals. Things like ball carriage, kick return decision making, blocking technique.

Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadThings others have mentioned, plus:
- Start Cassell from here on out. He's the only QB so far that at least has shown the ability to make reads and throw the ball. Time for Burcham to start his career at Eastern Washington - Bench the ENTIRE o-line. Open tryouts or whatever, but clearly it ain't working. Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadRevising my earlier post:
Resign, open New York Sub new location
Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadInstall a jumbo package
Add a second running play Fire the ST coach twice for effect Bench every wideout until I find one that can catch
Re: The "IF I WERE HEAD COACH ..." ThreadWell I would have tried visiting the local high schools to get some recruits.
