Some could see this coming a mile away

But others kept saying that June's recruits were really good and the recruiting services were dead wrong. Then when some brought up the lack of offers and people like Mexmustang said that offers mean nothing and the kids were lying about their offers. Looks like both were off base. This is a mess that will take a while to clean up.

This is all E.J. Holland fault
He has a prejudice against the SMU Football coaches
He's just a kid who knows nothing about college football
He kept reporting bad information on SMU's recruiting FAIL trying to make SMU look bad by quoting recruits
They had to ban him from the program
JasonB and PonyPride will explain

E. J. was spot on about the direction the recruiting was going. As were others.

I'm sure they'll find some way to blame RGT or the fans for this.

RGT should step to the line and shoot a free JJ back to the island.
JJ did well and then got LAZY and stole money for two years.
Nice guy for a beer but not what I want as a head football coach.

The State of the program is the responsibility of one man
JUNE SHELDON JONES
the other wheels in the program are all headed in the right direction and I'm not a cheerleader. You give a guy 2 Million a year and make all kinds of concessions you expect a dedicated head coach

I remember some JJ defenders like Corso and such saying after JJ had only 5 wins last year that he would be like O'Leary would had 5 wins one year and the had a conference championship the next. The problem with that argument is that what happened to O'Leary rarely happens. They were making something out or the ordinary the norm. We are in a mess.

Some kept bringing up Hawaii as well (going 11-3 after 5-7, never having consecutive losing seasons, blah blah blah).

Rice played Texas A&M much better than SMU did. SMH.

those living in denial will tell you conference play has not started yet and that we can still win the AAC. I suppose technically they are correct. We are not yet mathematically eliminated.
