Recruiter extraordianare from cajun land. Was recruiter of the year a couple of places. Was HC at ole miss and got let go. Went back to usc. Was interim coach after kiffin was let go. Wanted that job bad

... and was so respected in the coaching ranks that NOBODY offered him a job this past off season.
Orgeron is a good recruiter and a good defensive line coach. He's not a head coach.

This exactly. All for hiring him on the staff but it would be a disaster of a head coach

Orgeron did make a cameo. Along with Saban, Holtz, Nutt etc

he was in the Blind Side too when he coached at Ole Miss. Cajun sounding and recognized as one of the top recruiters over 2 decades. I really don't think you have to have that guy at head coach. You need a bunch of those guys on your staff though
