Obviously if there was ever a way to get him here, I'd do it in a heart beat.

But I'm not even going to let my brain entertain the idea. No way will I get even an ounce of hope that this is even remotely possible.

Somebody please give me one good reason he would come to SMU when he can have his pick of any P5 job that becomes available this year?

I know we're all excited because of today's fantastic news, but Morris is not happening guys.

Fine, talk to him to at least say we did it, but why would HE chose SMU?

it's about "coming home". I don't recall his children's ages but as an employee, I believe they could attend SMU tuition free. Is that benefit still in place?

If he could have his pick of P5 jobs, why is he still the OC at Clemson?

Fact is, for whatever reason, no P5 program has offered him yet and he's been on several lists. He's either holding out for a job he's not going to get or, more likely, he just isn't getting offered.
