This is getting a lot of play on the Ticket. Mike and Corby talking Mack to SMU next segment.

Ain't painting a pretty picture.....

Corby - "I went to game with my kids. There were 20,000 there - about 15,000 TCU, 5,000 SMU."
Corby - "Tim Mason - that poor son of a b!"
Danny - "the worst college football team ever."

Corby seems to think Mack left the door open to going to SMU and SMU should go after him. It worked with Larry Brown, and Mack could be the same for football.

They don't think that we can get a young energetic coach assistant coach to take the job..

The funny thing is it doesn't take much to get Mike talking about SMU basketball. He gets giddy talking about it. I hope we get him to a few games this season because he will talk all day about it on the air.

Mike talked many times last year about how much he loved the atmosphere at Moody.

He talks very sentimentally about it since his first basketball games as a youth were SMU games in the early 60s, both on the radio and in person. It holds a special place in his heart, so the rebirth is special.

hasBennett was an energetic young coach :!:

Been there done that about 2 or 3 times already :!: :!: :!:

Why do they ask how much experience you have in the skills they want :?: :?: :?:

After 6 OR MORE months of searching they will find an "energetic young coach" to rearrange the
chairs on the Titanic :!:

Does anything actually make you happy? What is it that you want smu to do?

Surely you don't think JJ should have stayed at this point.

If you're talking to me, I've said don't fire JJ, unless you a have a LB like in line to replace him.

Energetic young coaches are a dime a dozen, and a crap shoot :!: :!:

MB might be a viable candidate :!:
