He also said he talked to 4 of his friends that played at smu with him and they agree smu should get serious or drop the program. Also smu does not make death penalty era players feel welcome on campus nor some potential recruits from this area.

ED got JJ the job at SMU. at the time of JJ's hire ED was praised extensively. interestingly JJ supporters are only now coming to his defense.

Why didn't he come out after the Denton and Waco debacles? Why wasn't he vocal after the ASU fiasco?
