Compare and contrast as both have Texas ties.

Both are great. Herman also opens up the midwest, which we need, and increases exposure to the Big 10, which also we need. The Big10 is our friend.
Recruiting wise Morris may have a leg up, but it is close.
I want a guy who knows SMU stands for some thing, we who know what that thing is love this school and will give it our all. Either one can win and will get max support, and will be attractive to the larger community.

Sounds like six in one hand and half a dozen in another.

Each is exciting and will be winners, Hart has to assess who is more positive about the opportunity, and has the more sensible approach within the context of our strategic vision.
(That is Plans A, B, and C.) I know they will bring good ideas of their own, and we should want to hear them.
