might be the best thing JJT has ever written. Those yardage and numbers tell you a lot. I think he did change his tune when Zach was around to run the ball more.

After watching those Hawaii Games back then, the games were high flying and pretty fun. It is amazing he didn't develop one QB more than 2 yrs.

When you look at all the good QB's in College fball and in Texas. June certainly missed the boat. Gilbert fell in his lap.

Then again, his numbers from Hawaii were against WAC defenses with the occasional Boise and USC/P5 game.

No. But it won't be the same impact as getting a coach/coordinator that has a track record against P5 opponents and is used to the culture in those big time programs. That is where we want to be, therefore that is the kind of coach we should shoot for.
