Maybe not but they have the most players from Texas on their Roster than any other school and they whipped our backsides. I hope we can do a better job in the future.

If you are looking at recruiting...why not look only at scholarship players? Who cares how many walk-ons are from oklahoma or wherever...

Right JB, June did a wonderful job in Texas.

don't be a jerk. I didn't say he did a good job in texas. We just had some guy posting on the board who said he was a walk on but it took him years to get accepted into the program as a walkon. WTF? Why would we keep our numbers lower than other teams if people want to walk on? No idea if that was a June thing or an administration thing, but that seems just stupid.

depending on when roster was searched-the roster might just list 85 scholarship players plus preferred walkons. I don't think other walkons are listed until after first day of school when they report to the team. SMU has 62 scholarship Texans on its roster
