Ding ding, we have a winner. Face it, folks, these next 10 games are nothing but a prolonged interview for the remaining coaches to land somewhere else. Whoever we hire is going to bring in his own staff (as it should be). Highly doubt anyone from JJ's crew stays on the Hilltop after this season. JMHO

Exactly, expect a lot of JJ's old stafe to suddenly be showing how "well connected" they have become in DFW HS Football, and how they are tireless recruiters.

Good on him for brushing up his social media profile. The job market is probably going to be rough on him considering his light experience and the stigma of 0-12.

Certainly common for the new guy to bring his guys in ... but it is not out of the norm either for 1-2 guys from the old staff to stay on.

With these tweats and social media insights we are now seeing ... may have as much to do with "if" JJ putt a lid on that stuff post JR, AK and now Mason wants folks to know what they have been doing all along. Eric is a good guy, young, aggressive and passionate about football ... players/recruits like him. Yes is he young and learning, and makes mistakes ... but if he will recruit hard ... that is what you need. He played at Baylor, finished at HSU under legendary Jimmy Keeling ... and Eric knows/understands Texas HS Football.

Its over for this staff-there will not be any new commitments-there will likely be 6-8 decommitments when all is said and done. No. 1 -if we don't run the Run and Shoot we are going to be substantially culling our contingent of mini-me receivers. Some may move to other positions
