Install the pistol. Put Matt Davis in at QB, run the ball 60%-70% of the time (RB by committee, bring in fresh legs constantly . . . Pope, Nlemchi, Line, Gresham), make his throws very quick and simple and give him the green light to run whenever he wants. Play Gaines as a blocker for the little bubble screens, quick outs, etc. Throw to him on quick slants in 2nd/3rd and 5 type situations (all about timing, run that play 10 times a day in practice). Put in the jumbo goal line package with Gresham as FB, Pope or Nlemchi at RB and Hipps and Gaines as double TE. Go back to "old school". Worked for the Cowboys.

Then get after it on defense! Play very aggressive and blitz (is Minor out for the year?). THEN, maybe we win 2-3 games this year. At least make the AAC games entertaining/competitive enough to watch.

I think that is a very good game plan for the talent we have - plus every now and then once they were lured asleep you could throw the 4 wideouts on them and freak them out.
