SMU cornerback J.R. Richardson injures leg, status unknown for Texas A&M http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com ... s-am.html/SMU cornerback J.R. Richardson injured his left leg during Thursday’s practice. His status for Saturday’s home opener against No. 6 Texas A&M is unknown. Richardson was supposed to take over for Deion Sanders Jr. on kickoff returns. If Richardson cannot play, freshman running back Darius Durall will probably be used on kickoff returns, coach Tom Mason said. Starting cornerback Horace Richardson, who missed the first two games, remains sidelined with an undisclosed injury. Mason hopes he will be ready for TCU next week.

Wow, shocking how difficult it seems for either of the Richardson's to stay healthy. Looks like more Shakiel at corner.
Durall was one of the freshman I heard has been great in practice so I think this is still a major upgrade over Deion on KR.

Will be interesting to see if they match up Shak with RSJ and how he holds up against him.

Does this mean I have to see Jr. returning kicks again? I was hoping to never have to see that again.

Strike 1 against Tom Mason's all out practices Longview's star running back, and Baylor commit JyMycal Hasty has been out since pre season practice with undisclosed back injury. Team starter hierarchial competition mixed with big hits can lead to un-needed injuries to much needed talent

Richardson got hurt during one of June's practices and had to miss an entire year. What is your excuse for that?

Wait so coach mason injured a kid in Longview? Possibly, I have no witnesses to his whereabouts at the time
