What happened to blue?

Still a good look. But all that hype about blue and first game out of the box we get red.

maybe the plan is to screw around with combinations in non-con then go with traditional pony express in conference...much like LSU wears purple at home only for non conference...or those hideous white helmets they wore vs Tulane a couple years ago. SEC home games always yellow pants/white jerseys at home

I think it's a good alternative look. Sort of a non conf deal as stated above. Plus it's blue with gray next week vs TCU.

We are wearing red so the Aggy crowd doesn't stick out more than it already will be.

I think it will be fine so that they can wear blue the next week with the cool looking red chrome helmets. Besides I think the stripes on the paints will look good.

It's probably so they can help try and spin all the aggies as being from SMU so all the maroon/red doesn't look as awful.

It actually makes sense.

It's just strange and somewhat bizarre they make the big push to go back to what most consider the classic SMU uniform this season, and we won't wear it until at least the third home game since they have already announced the silly helmets for TCU.

I'm fine with it, I don't want the Blues to be tainted after this weekend anyway.
