The real interest for is me, how the team has changed since post JJ, and how the media now perceives SMU. This is a national game, with plenty of Texas HS FB players/coaches watching. Would be great to be characterized as a school that has reaffirmed its commitment to FB, and all the positives SMU has to offer, as opposed to a troubled admin that didn't give JJ (the QB guru) the tools to suceed (without any evidence). Given the game is at SMU, I hope Hart is working his [deleted] off to schmooze every media person at SMU for the game.

While I don't think we will win, I do think we will play with a whole lot more energy and spunk than we have the past 2 games. I think that it will be a lot better game than it would have been predicted 2 weeks ago.

I expect the game to be entertaining, if nothing else. Mason is basically operating in a "can't lose" situation because he knows he has just this year to show the world whether he is a head coaching candidate and there is not much in the way of expectations for this season (especially in the non-conference schedule). We may look like the Keystone Cops out there but I expect to see some different guys used in some different formations and see some plays JJ would never run. I even expect our OL to put their hands on the ground a time or two. Who cares what the scoring differential might be? After watching the way A$M played on the road against South Carolina, I figure they will be able to score at will. I will be watching to see whether we will show any offensive ability whatsoever.

I went to donate money to SMU today and there were several options to designate the money relative to the football team i.e. Circle of Champions, Support for coaches, staff, Mustang... Which one do you all recommend or can someone explain the difference between the options... Many thanks...

"Miracle" would be an understatement. New coach, arguably the worst team in the country, 3rd (?) string quarterback, overwhelming odds, etc.
