SMU spirit

Hurts my heart seein SMU being overrun by Aggies. Talked to a TCU bud and he said they had the same problem pre-Patterson. Can we turn it around like they did? I sure hope so cause it sucks seeing a stadium
Full of Maroon and no SMU fans except the hardcore at the club area and Home seating

It continues to bug me that the student section was not full at kick-off and during the half more exited.

Idk why the crackheads on here think our teams success ANYTHING to do with the attendance being good... They keep attacking the student body for BS reasons, Hire a GD coach who can recruit and win! Then worry about the rest! See the f'ing bball program! We win and it sells out, whoduthunkit!

I appreciate anyone who showed up to begin with knowing this would be a mismatch and have no problem with their leaving at half...but to keep things in perspective, I remember our Pony Express team beating A$M something like 52-7 and I was among the few SMU fans who stayed until the end. A$M on the other hand...they traveled well and stayed until the bitter end doing their cult like cheers.
Don't try to defend our "fans" with the "win and they will come" because even that wasn't true in the Pone Express era. We have very few loyal fans and that's the simple truth...and a large part of why we are in the position we are in today. Not many small private schools are in a position to compete in today's college football world
