Except the media is too stupid to point out obvious facts. I tried to watch on tv as much as I could stomach and hearing their comments about jones just shows how clueless they are about the fact he was just collecting his paycheck the last 3 to 4 years which had precisely led to this football team that in all honesty would be middle of the road in fcs.

Yes, but we're about 10 deep in slot receivers! Can't have too many 5'-9" receivers..........

The "guru" has never put a QB on an NFL roster

I commented to a friend were the TV guys were instructed not to bash JJ. There was no way you they could ignore how poorly we played, the lack of talent and the pitiful offensive output without question JJ's coaching and recruiting.

And is the walkon the best of the 4? Not scared like Burcham. Much better arm than Davis. Much more accurate than Kolney. At least he has balls and wasn't afraid. I'd start him next game.

I told someone
I don't know if he'd going to be a good QB, but at least he's a football player.

Agreed, he'd be my QB for the rest of the season.

Kirstic was facing a totally different defense. Once he came in the game, Sumlin called off the dogs defensively and played a base defense. That is why he actually had room to scramble.
Give Mason some credit for not burning redshirts on the young QBs.

Screw that. Those freshman had zero offers. Jason you just don't get it. They will be recruited over or simply not fit the new offense or they may decide to leave based on new coaching staff. I say play them if they are better than our walkon starting QB and give the new coaching staff as much tape as possible to analyze their potential. We are staring 0-12 in the face-you play any and all kids that can help in that situation. I don't think Colbert is a Division 1A QB anyway but he could help us on the field somewhere. Plus I want SMU to play all 6 QBs to finally teach Jason the meaning of "Depth". As I suspected its quite doubtful if SMU has a Division 1A QB on its roster-I want our next Coach to know that as soon as possible and act accordingly
