They have a superb team and when this game was scheduled a few years ago, A&M did take a bit of risk to play us on our home turf.

But fast forward to the current, and SMU would finish in the bottom third against most FCS teams. It is such a shame that the Aggies had to play such a horrid team when they are in the mix for a national title.

I salute the Aggies for taking a chance and signing to play these games, it is just so soul crushing that we fielded a team that could be beat by Allen High School. I am sorry we could not give you a better game.

I don't feel sorry for them. The college football system really sucks these days.

Today I was the only SMU person from my family to go to the game. My guests were my Baylor grad cousin who let me use one of his tickets at Baylor, his Texas A&M freshman daughter, his brother (also my cousin of course) who is an Aggie grad and his freshman Aggie daughter. I had extra tickets but no one used them.
They felt sorry for SMU. They know the story. Their dad and grandpa were SMU fans.

Some top teams are playing some cupcakes this week.

A&M agreed to come to our stadium...and for what?....to play one of the worst FBS teams ever fielded.

Totally embarrassing. I am sorry they had to do that. Their Fourth stringers kicked our butts, I am pretty sure the nerd that usually just washes jocks and gets taped to lockers suited up and ran for 12 yards on second and 10.

Totally the wrong attitude, they did us a huge favor agreeing to this game years ago. Not their fault that we just happened to field a team that could very well lose to a mediocre highschool team.

Went to regional baseball playoffs a couple if years back and received a parking ticket in the parking garage for reverse parking. Yep, got a ticket for backing in. Are you kidding! Only a dumb [deleted] aggie could come up with that [deleted]

Screw the aggies.. They took no risk, they only plays us on our field to play as many games in Texas for recruiting purposes now. I hope they stumble in the SEC west and finish well outside of the playoffs.

I'm very worried about them coming to Tuscaloosa.

yea screw BCS/P5 teams that are willing to give SMU a 2-2 series! Who needs that? Filling up Ford is easy peasy w/o them!

I must admit, feeling sorry for the aggies is about the last thought I would have had tonight. We gave them a home game in Dallas. Not sorry for not feeling sorry.
