When Bennett was canned suddenly a bunch of pf posters who were total Bennett lovers disappeared. Murat have been relatives, buddies, or AD shills.

I supported Bennett and Jones longer than most. I'm still here, but busy with medical school. I will be here long after the next couple coaches come and go. Above all I want SMU to win.

If you're pulling for SMU simply due to a coach, you're not a fan you're a groupie.

LB has a lot of groupies - and rightfully so. Hopefully some turn into longterm SMU fans.

I think we shed a lot of JJ groupies over the last few years. Lots of Kansas fans are groupies of LB from 20 years ago. Funny, is there any SMU fan that will be a JJ groupie if he ever gets another coaching job?

Don't know. It depends how much coverage there will be for a football league in the South Pacific
