no surprise there, as they should. Played South Car, UNC, and VT. Nice schedule. They should run the AAC.

well deserved and I don't see anyone in this conference to keep them from winning out and climbing even higher. They have the best shot at a BCS game from our conference

And with mostly 2 and some 3 star talent according to rivals...QB Shane Carden 2 stars

At this point I would be happy if we just beat a spread.

And I'd be happy for a loyal fan. Great for ECU

East Carolina University is good - they definitely deserve to be in the Top 25.

Great for The American too.

So how does ecu do it? When you see these things makes you more pissed off at jones and would could have been if he actually had given a damn.

They have done a great job.
Interesting that their QB is a Rivals low 2 star, 5th year senior from Texas, with no other offers.
Star running back was a no-star Rivals that had only a Boise State offer. So they have done a very good job of getting their guys to improve.

Coaching is exceptional. Lincoln Riley jumped to near the top of my list of coaching candidates.

I believe Riley was recruiting him while he was at Tech but did not offer because they had a good QB already committed. Then when he went to ECU they offered him. He had an offer from Harvard.

I've been a proponent of LR for a couple years. They are excellent

Carden went to a small private school Episcopal-not too surprising he was overlooked. He was on Texas Tech recruiting list-good scouting by Tech coaches in Texas. Now how does June Jones scouting compare in last 7 years-what's his excuse. 18 starting Division 1A QBs this year came from Texas-the most in the United States- but June is off in California, Washington, Arkansas and Missouri recruiting QBs. We'll not even mention the 10 Texas QBs who have started in the NFL-again the most in the nation
