They need to expand the student section to include the upper 200 level. Make the visitor area smaller.

they'll do that when students fill the section for every conference game, so that will be....oh, say, never.

We did fill it up this last game. The mob points seem to be working, and I have seen decent attendance at volleyball and soccer games.

And we did fill up hoops with mostly nobody teams playing us. We will change the mentality of people coming to watch teams "people care about" into watching our team no matter the opponent. This is why schools like A&M bring 100K to watch them play Lamar and pay $200 to watch them at SMU

The entire stadium emptied out by the 3rd quarter. Only our band, the Alumni side and Aggie corps of cadets had people. I stayed until 5 minutes left on the 4th.

Actually TCU and Baylor have both done this recently very successfully. There maybe or was a AAC or CUSA rule against seating student section behind visiting bench though

I don't appreciate you calling me a troll. It is not my fault that you are a non-confident cynical loser. These are things that actually help start bringing more people in there, along with the Mob Point strategy, it could work out nicely.

TCU student section is behind the visitor bench and so is UNT's and BU. Ours is possibly the smallest student section I have seen comparing all those. I would make the student section reach from 117 to 125 with future potential of expanding to the 200 level. Combine beer and require Mob points to check in and out with their student ID instead of the app and we may be onto something.

I do 100% agree there needs to be a check in and check out system with a swipe of a student ID(because it sounds like the cell phone thing isnt going to better soon) Make it where you have to swipe in and cant swipe out before 4th quarter or something. Hopefully by then most kids would just stay to watch the end if its a good game

Perhaps they can just have a card they can swipe somewhere near the student section that doesn't give points until sometime in the 4th quarter.
This way they have to at least make an appearance, even if it's to game the system.
That'd be a pretty simple system to implement, both in hardware and software.
