This year. Possibly. Last 5, no.

Stop with the idiotic threads. So if you're a Tech fan you would be asking the same thing about their Big 12 program? Should have lost to 1AA Central Arkansas. Barely got by horrible UTEP, and got steamrolled by Arkansas. Are Tech fans whining about firing Kingsbury and beating high school teams?

I agree. This year is what I am talking about.

you can't look at one year of a program in a vacuum and use that as a barometer of the success of the program. if we are in this same place in two years, then maybe you have a point. but this argument just doesn't hold up using a snapshot in time. at least not with me.

Last year we almost lost to Montana St and are on a downward path. I don't think that there will be any magical infusion of talent next year. It's not an argument but question of the state of the team today not 2 years ago. I am not referring to the success of the program, I am talking about where we are NOW.

Yes, currently the talent is at 1-AA levels which everyone should have seen coming based on the last few recruiting classes.

Only KK's second year. He is still playing with mostly Tuberville's kids as his recruits have not had the normal 2 years to develop. This year the TT recruiting class is pretty good.

Which Texas FCS teams could we beat? SHSU would kill is. SFA probably kill us. UTSA and Texas St are now DBS, but would kill us.
Are ACU and WTA&M FCS?

that's true. all of his recruits last year were 2 and 3 stars. the lone 4 star was the guy who punched the girl in the face.

Right, and that is usually what happens in a coaches first full class. Now this years class is pretty good.

I'm not even a Tech fan but that's just stupid talk about recruiting:

Of the 10 guys committed for next year, KK has the #2 ranked dual-threat QB in nation (4 stars), the #10 ranked DT in the country (4 stars), and the #13 ranked OL (4 stars).

Somewhere I think I read about SMU actually speaking to the OT, but I'm sure June gave up immediately when he found out the kid was also being recruited by most of the Big 12.
