Said that our tackling wasn't good. Hopefully, they get that corrected soon.

One thing I have noticed is there have been no threads of posters debating our tackling prowess.

Is that what he calls it "tackling"? I could have sworn I saw our guys reaching for the flag.

TCU is good but they are no aTm or BU (NTSU would probably give them a good run also).

So, I say we lose this one 44-10. So, not too bad. I say we get our second TD of the year!

UNT was bad! They would not give TCU much trouble. 44 - 10? Like Baylor and aTm, score depends on when they call off the dogs.

Bill Nichols ‏@BillNicholsDMN 16m

SMU's @TomMason20 counted 31 missed tackles vs Texas A&M: "That's unacceptable. If we would have tackled, we’d have been fine"

Fine is a relative term. Many of the missed tackles were 20 yards or more past the 1st down marker.

And blocked. And hit open receivers. And hit a longer field goal.

When you have to make 200 tackles cause your offense has only 2 yards of offense, tackles #151-200 become a little more difficult.

Some of the missed tackles were early in the game. Also A&M only ran 68 plays not 200.

It's a tough topic to tackle, so it's avoided.

What a coincidence, I said that, too.

If you miss enough tackles on each play then you can have 200 tackle opportunities on just 68 plays.
