For those of you who remember Watson was HC at Rice in the early 80's. I remember him as the HC of Vanderbilt a few years later, and also a good friend of my fathers. Went to his football camp at Vandy when I was a kid. Good guy, class act.

He was also the coach at UAB in 2005 when we beat them on that Romo to Chase Hail Mary.
