While I feel for the guys, this is our worst team since the DP. No fire, no tackling, 0 offense. Those freshman were undersized but had spunk. This team lacks just about everything. It's quite baffling.

Not since Morestead has our punter had the longest run from scrimmage.

I hope they realize that their actions will cost SMU heavily.

Bad recruiting is certainly a core issue, but it appears to go deeper than that. As Stallion pointed out in another thread, the strength and conditioning program is an epic fail. And this is the most poorly coached D-1A football team I've ever seen. They were nowhere close to ready to play coming out of camp.

Exactly why the AD must break their control. Our old boosters are Jerry Jones types completely incompetent at coach selection.
