At this point after going to 4 bowls Pye has very little to do with this team. This mess is mostly on June Jones. And since Mason said that he recruited 3/4th's of the team it is partly on him as well.

Pye has nothing to do with this. The sooner we quit using that old crutch the better.

Where does the June Jones Penalty rank in there?

Really? So what if he did some good things at the start and took us to a few mediocre bowl games? In the end he torched it, let it burn to the ground, and then abandoned the current players and walked away. Any good will he created in 2008-2010 is completely gone in my opinion and he is primarily responsible for the state of our program today.

No where to go but up, I suppose.

Tough to tell... Time will let us know.

I did have a moment during this game where I thought maybe ED was right... Let's just shut this thing down. This past month was about as rough as I can remember. I was in school post DP (early 90s). Those teams were God awful, but I don't remember them looking this bad.

Just think of how great our draft pick is going to be next year.

Folks this thread is in reference to Ken Pye's distaste toward SMU athletics. I believe if he could he would have done away with SMU athletic department altogether. Hence, with the football program in the current state it is today he must be smiling

I think there are just too many that do not know the real damage he did to the program, some of which still lingers today.
