How can you verify they are actually who they are?

This doesn't surprise me a ton. The student body (meaning greek life i.e. the social scene) has never embraced the football players since I've been here. I mean in terms of support, night time activities, on campus during the day, etc. I can see why they had a mentality of them against the school, because they honestly were/are not very welcome by their peers.

In distinct contrast to that the basketball team is currently being treated like gods by the student body, and I would bet that as a consequence they have a very different opinion of SMU as a whole, and their experience here.
