Mack Brown

An acquaintance traveling in the west southern Louisiana region heard on the radio that Mack Brown and SMU were in serious discussions.
He said he thought we were getting a 'real' coach.
He was in an area close enough to pick up Houston radio.
I don't know anything other than what he said.
All I can say is at least we are getting some positive buzz on at least one radio program

I saw a blurb last night on twitter with a supposed quote from Mack Brown that he has not been contacted by SMU and won't interview for any jobs until December. I'll see if I can dig it up.

That doesn't mean that is agent hasn't had contact with some schools.

Yeah I imagine that we have at the very least reached out to his representatives. The process is in such an early stage who knows what we will do but that statement by Mack was anything but a denial of interest.
