Who would be the team going to the big boy bowl from the leftovers if we have either ECU or Cincy with 1 loss and Marshall ends the season undefeated?

Marshall's schedule strength is very weak. ECU and Cinci are both better, especially ECU having played 2 ranked teams. I'm not sure how they are deciding it, if it is based on poll rankings, expect ECU or Cinci higher.

But is it highest ranked in the human polls, or are they using a BCS style computer system?

You surely jest, right? Marshall has played no P5 or strong G5 opponents. Only CUSA, FCS and MAc opponents. Even UCF with losses to 2 P5 shoul be ranked higher, should tHey end 10-2

Won't the playoff selection committee do this or are they just for the final 4?

I think the committee is ranking at least 25 teams, so I expect them to determine the Access Bowl. Sadly the lower third of the AAC is not helping SOS. All things being "fair" I would think ECU has inside track if they can win the Conference. If it gets to a 2 loss AAC Champion v 13-0 Marshall, then I doubt it. (Only Conf. Champs are eligible).
