From the article...

The NCAA Department of Enforcement underwent an overhaul in staffing over the last year and a half, and as a result cases of this nature began to pile up in the enforcement offices...

Nothing will happen, the NCAA has been neutered.

The way these things work I'm sure some small no-name school from Kentucky will get absolutely HAMMERED by this, but Ole Miss walks out without a scratch.

Did I read this right, that's it's primarily about the women's bball program and under the previous coach?

No - most of the violations were in women's bball, but there were football violations under the previous football coach.

I think you meant to say yes instead of no with that first word. You just said exactly what ponyboy said.

Haha. Kind of what I was thinking.

Miss seeing you on Saturdays, Calallen. I'm sure the row isn't the same without me.

I read ponyboy's question as referring to the former women's basketball coach.

Nothing to see here. NCAA will not affect any program not called SMU

I think I misread what ponyboy said...I took it to mean that he figured the violations were tied to the former women's basketball coach

I asked around about this today... it's primarily womens' basketball related (has something to do with the coach Ole Miss hired a couple years ago who never even made it to the start of his first season before being fired for committing NCAA violations) and recruiting during Nutt's era.

Some people that I've talked to think it might have something to do with Jermaine Whitehead (a DB at Auburn that has been suspended for the past couple weeks).
