If you've read my other posts around this board you'll know that I agree with you 100% about Tom Mason, we're lucky to have him. He is really the only guy holding this thing together at this point. There have been hints of the nonsense going on behind the scenes and I can assure you it's worse than advertised. December 6th cannot come soon enough.
I'm not being cute at all, I'm furious. You'd think this might be an opportunity for the team to 'circle the wagons' and come together, but guys like Phillips, Broussard, and Mel won't let that happen. It's basically June's cronies vs. Mason. Offensive guys, especially receivers and backs (coached by Phillips & Broussard) taking pot shots and their own defensive teammates. Brawls in practice as a result. I know I keep harping on these 3 but they should be led off the campus immediately.
June's legacy and lack of leadership coming full circle as the melt down continues. Really sad.

I read somewhere recently that it was at JJ's request or suggestion that Mason be the interim HC. Don't remember if it was on PF.com or DMN.

No offense, but I don't think a 3points per game average gives our offense any room to talk. I haven't watched a game and felt good about a single position on that offense.
Or defense for that matter.
Punter will be good though. Tons is real game experience going into his second year. Won't be able to tell much about out kickoff coverage unit or KO specialist.
