Team Support

Fellow PF Members,
With only 4 home games left this season I would implore everyone that can attend our games against Cincy, Memphis, USF and Houston to do so. If you can't attend in person bc of other commitments encourage others to attend.
I know this has been a morally devastating year for all of us true fans and many were already dispassioned coming into the season with JJ still at the helm, but the staff, the team and our alma mater deserve our support.
We still have 7 games left and after the spirited run we gave ECU I believe we can still squeeze out 5 wins and end up respectable. Even if we continue to lose let's at least show the next coach and future recruits that this team does have fan support.
I for my part will continue to make sure my 4 seats are filled and am going to bring as many people as possible for homecoming against USF. Also dropping a note of encouragement to the team through the staff is a gesture I am sure they both appreciate it.
I hope AD Hart also has this same mentality and really tries to rally the campus into turning out to support the team over the next few weeks. Bring on Cincy, Go Stangs!

But only show up at the very end of the 2Q like the players did last week.

Boy you're really good at making snarky remarks, I hope it entertains you at least.

You're really good at parading half-efforts. Our talents abound.

I agree. We should at least have an average attendance of 15,000 for the rest of the season...

I'll be there but these posts are meaningless. Who are you talking to, exactly?

Appreciate the post JoeKidd. Sad that 3 of the first 5 replies to a positive thought in support of the team is met by snide comments and complaints.

I seriously doubt that-it will average less than 15,000 in tickets distributed-probably 12,000 for actual butts in seats

I will be there as I always am - and will encourage others in stead of trying to appear smug and superior on an anonymous message board

I want to thank Joe Kidd for having the courage to ask/demand for good turnouts, despite expecting to get negative responses. His ask is reasonable and important. This team, our recruits and the media will judge our commitment. I hope others will see the importance of this commitment and attend. We are in a hole, but we do have a ladder. If some disappear now, they are part of the problem. Collectively, we are the solution.

wish i could be there - but with a 1.5 year old and a wife who works, I had to choose between coming down for fb or bb this year, and I chose BB.
Top 25 team, a game against reigning Nat'l champ UConn and espn gameday (btw I need tix please!)
But I will be rooting for the ponies and as always, hanging my SMU flag high on my front porch.

He's talking to the core group of people that already go to all of the home games. Despite his pleas we're looking at 1/4 capacity the rest of the way.
