I've read some (and I'm sure there's plenty more info if I searched around more) but just wanted to get the informed folks to weigh in on why this guy is our #1 target. I admittedly don't know a whole lot about his background and just want to be educated. I know he has strong Texas ties but that is about it. And obviously Clemson has had some success recently

Good background at getting the most out of the QB's that he has.

A lot of people look at him and see the next Briles/Malzahn.

I think it is because his name is easy to spell. And spelling is difficult for some of us.

Very good point. Does the WDNWHA Committee's authority extend to coaching searches or just recruiting? If that question is not allowable, I'm ok with that too.

The WDNWHA Committee has extended to include the coaching search. However we never stand in the way of personal opinion, nor do we announce our decision until final results are concluded, just was with the players.

I think SMU hits the jackpot with either Morris or Mack Brown.

We want Morris cause he is a better coach than Charlie Waters.
